10 steps to add Javascript on

  1. Log in to your Wix account
  2. Select Edit Site
  3. Click Wix App market
  4. In the tool bar, select HTML and choose « HTML iFrame/Embed »
  5. Add it on to site
  6. A window pops up. From the Mode drop-down list, select the HTML code. Copy/paste the JavaScript Redirect code into the box labelled « HTML / embed code»
  7. Update
  8. In the checkbox, inspect the « Show on all pages »
  9. Save & Publish
  10. In the popup, switch off « Display in the mobile action Bar on my mobile site » and click on OK.

      Actually, from our knowledge, you cannot insert a script inside the HEAD section of WIX as it is limited to their system. Hence the “workaround” explained here. Usually, no script should absolutely be loaded in the HEAD of the HTML, the only reason why script are sometimes asked to be included there is because it will be loaded faster than other script and content, which is useful for analytics or customer experience analysis (it is indeed best that those kind of processes start as early as possible).

    Hi, I’d like to add a reCaptcha code to the “Contact Form” on my Wix website. I followed the steps above to try to paste the following snippet () but it doesn’t seem to work. Could someone please shed me some light on this? Many thanks!
