Gender category brings detailed information about your customers based on their gender.
Here is the list of insights you can find:

This chart presents the number of voters. Depending on your business you will have mainly man, mainly woman or a mix.
It gives you information about who is your real audience.
Emoscore by Gender
This chart helps you find the general emotional state of your audience in function of their gender. It helps answers the question « Is my communication adapted to my audience ».
In this case, the communication seems more adapted to man.
Gender by referrer type
This chart helps you to figure out your users’ gender by device. Often people use different devices with different intent : it might be crucial to know what channel to optimize, and where to focus your communication.

This chart helps you to figure out your users’ gender by device. Often people use different devices with different intent: it might be crucial to know what channel to optimize.
Emoscore by Gender and referrer
This matrix helps you visualise which traffic source and/or device type performs high or low in term of Emoscore. The greener the color, the higher the Emoscore. Mousing over each cell allows you to view specific data such as total respondents. N.B. Some referral category might not be detected and therefore the sample size might differ from the global sample size.
In this example, the business focus on man. Therefore, we see that man shows positive emotions while woman are less attracted which means that the website is well targeted. It would have pinpointed an issue if the website was focus on woman.
